Privacy policy

How Trawvid Sec handles information submitted through this website.

This policy explains what the site collects, why we use it, when another service processes it, and what stays in your browser unless you choose to send it.

Effective and last updated: August 20, 2026

Privacy summary

No data sales

Trawvid Sec does not sell or rent personal information or use website information for behavioral advertising.

Checklist answers stay local

Detailed checklist answers remain in browser session storage unless you explicitly ask the site to email a results report.

Keep secrets out

Public forms and ordinary email are not the place for passwords, regulated records, confidential evidence, or sensitive incident details.

01 / Scope

What this policy covers

This policy covers information processed through trawvidsec.net, including contact forms, newsletters, checklists, program applications, career applications, product fulfillment, embedded scheduling, and other public website features.

A signed client agreement, partner agreement, or other written scope may set additional rules for information handled during an advisory engagement. Those agreement-specific terms control that work where they differ from this public website policy.

02 / Information

Information the site processes

Information you submit

Forms may collect your name, email address, phone number, business or household context, organization, role, location, industry, employee range, selected service or newsletter topics, high-level technology context, application responses, consent records, and the message you choose to send. Career forms also collect professional background, profile links, market experience, role fit, and conflict disclosures.

Checklist information

The business, CMMC, and personal cyber checklists store unlock status, profile selections, answers, scores, and a results email address in your browser's session storage. Trawvid Sec does not receive detailed checklist answers merely because you complete a checklist. Closing the browser session or clearing site data removes that session data according to your browser's behavior.

If you ask the site to email your results, the report, checklist answers, profile selections, score, and destination email address pass through a Netlify Function to Resend so the requested email can be delivered. The site also stores hashed email and network-address values with short rate-limit counters to prevent abuse; the hashes do not contain the original email address or network address.

Purchases and fulfillment

Stripe hosts checkout and handles payment-card information. Trawvid Sec receives the purchaser email address, purchased item, transaction and session identifiers, payment status, and related fulfillment details needed to deliver the product, provide purchased support, prevent duplicate delivery, and maintain business records. Trawvid Sec does not receive or store full payment-card numbers through this website.

Technical and usage information

Netlify and connected security features may process network address, browser and device information, request timestamps, requested pages, referring pages, error details, and other server or security logs needed to deliver and protect the site. Netlify reCAPTCHA may process interaction and device signals when it appears on a form.

Trawvid Sec does not currently add a standalone advertising tracker or use website information for behavioral advertising. Limited program events use non-sensitive labels such as page, program, track, source, or routing status when an existing site data layer is available; those events exclude free-text responses, identity, assessment answers, findings, evidence, and incident details.

03 / Use

How Trawvid Sec uses information

  • Respond to contact requests, schedule conversations, evaluate service fit, and provide advisory work.
  • Unlock checklists, deliver requested checklist reports, and provide related follow-up resources when you consent.
  • Manage newsletter subscriptions and honor topic selections or unsubscribe requests.
  • Review career inquiries and administer sponsored small-business program applications.
  • Process purchases, deliver digital products, coordinate purchased support, and maintain transaction records.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site while limiting analytics events to non-sensitive operational context.
  • Prevent spam, fraud, duplicate fulfillment, abuse, and other misuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect Trawvid Sec, site visitors, clients, and other people.

04 / Sharing

When information reaches another organization

Trawvid Sec does not sell or rent personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use service providers when they need information to operate a feature: Netlify for hosting, forms, functions, bot protection, and storage; Resend for newsletter contacts and transactional email; Stripe for checkout and payment fulfillment; and Google services for fonts, appointment scheduling, reCAPTCHA, and YouTube video embeds. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

If a sponsor funds a small-business program, Trawvid Sec may share the program administration fields disclosed in the application flow and aggregate, non-identifying outcomes. Sponsors do not receive a participant's assessment answers, scorecard, findings, evidence, recommendations, or action plan through that program flow.

We may disclose information when law requires it, when necessary to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of relevant business assets. We limit the disclosure to what the situation reasonably requires.

05 / Third parties

Embeds, external links, and social platforms

The site embeds Google Calendar and YouTube content and loads Google Fonts. An embedded service may receive technical information, use cookies or similar storage, and recognize a signed-in account according to its own settings. The Checkup video uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain, but YouTube may still process information when the player loads or you interact with it.

Booking, checkout, source citations, and the Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X links take you to websites Trawvid Sec does not control. Their privacy policies govern activity after you leave this site. Use the direct fallback links or your browser controls if you do not want to interact with an embedded frame.

06 / Retention

How long information remains

Browser-session checklist data remains under your browser's session-storage rules. Submitted contact, newsletter, application, transaction, fulfillment, and program administration records remain only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, deliver the service, administer the relationship, maintain tax and business records, prevent misuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or meet legal obligations.

Email providers and other service providers may retain delivery, security, transaction, and account records under their own policies. Backup, fraud-prevention, and legal-hold records may remain for a limited period after an ordinary record is deleted.

07 / Choices

Your choices and requests

  • Use the unsubscribe option in newsletter emails to stop marketing messages or change subscription topics.
  • Close the browser session or clear site data to remove checklist information stored in session storage.
  • Use browser privacy controls to manage cookies, local storage, and embedded third-party content.
  • Use direct booking or video links instead of embedded frames when you prefer to open the provider separately.
  • Choose not to submit optional form fields, but understand that required information may be necessary to answer a request or deliver a feature.

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information. Email n@trawvidsec.net with a specific request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information that law or a legitimate business requirement allows us to keep.

08 / Security

Security and safe submission boundaries

Trawvid Sec uses practical administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to this site and limits submitted information to the business context needed for each feature. No website, email, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Do not submit passwords, sign-in codes, recovery codes, private keys, payment-card numbers, regulated records, customer evidence, detailed network diagrams, sensitive incident details, or other confidential technical material through public forms or ordinary email.

09 / Children

Children's information

This site provides business and cybersecurity advisory information and is not directed to children under 13. Trawvid Sec does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public site. Contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information so we can review and address it.

10 / Changes

Policy changes

Trawvid Sec may update this policy as the site, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also appear through a notice on the site or another reasonable communication when appropriate.

11 / Contact
